Restricting access based on activity completion

One way to restrict access to an activity is based on whether a user has or hasn't completed other activities. The activity completion condition requires learners to complete (or not complete) or pass (or not pass) another activity within the course. You can select whether the learner must or must not match the specified completion criteria.
To set up restricted access based on activity completion, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the course and select Turn editing on.
- Click Edit next to the activity for which you want to restrict access.
- Expand the Restrict access section and click Add restriction.
- Select Activity completion.
- You can select whether the learner must or must not match the specified completion criteria.
- Select the relevant activity from the Choose... dropdown menu.
- Next select the relevant criteria (e.g. must be marked complete).
- Then select Save and display or Save and return to course to confirm your selection.
You can also click the X delete icon to cancel without saving.
