Course grading

When using courses to deliver learning to your learners, you can assess their attempts at activities within a course, then calculate a grade for the entire course.

In this section you can find out about setting up grade scales and advanced grading methods. Additionally, there may be occasions when you need to manually grade learners' work, such as amending a specific user's grade in extenuating circumstances.

If you need to import grades from outside of your Totara site, you can do this using a CSV file, an XML file, or an Excel spreadsheet.

You can also use outcomes to grade learners' work against specific learning goals, rather than overall performance.
